THE CAGE was opened in the Spring of 2008 to give young people in West Central Iowa the opportunity to impove their baseball and softball skills throughout the year. Located in Breda, Iowa, it features three batting cages, several pitching machines including the Jugs Lite Flight, Little Ball Machines, 4 pitching mounds, several tee stations and several soft toss stations. In its first 3 years, over 1,000 youths have used the opportunity to use The Cage to improve their skills.

Baseball and softball camps, clinics and individual instruction have been provided by several high school coaches, college coaches, professional scouts, and pitching coaches.
